High—efficiency differential rotation screw press dehydrator realizes low energy and efficient dewatering even of difficult to dewater sludge and promotes the production of low water content cake.
· Structure and Process
① Sludge feed
Optimal floc formed from thickening sludge in the chemical conditioning tank is fed with constant pressure continuously.
② Filtration thickening
After the sludge fed to the main body through the center of the shaft is thickened sufficiently in the filtration thickening zone, it's 1st dewatered.
③ Filtration dewatering
Filtration dewatering is carried out efficiently through the screen which is fit in sludge properties.
④ Press dewatering
In the press dewatering zone the filtration chamber is gradually reduced.
Pressure is controlled by presser at the discharge zone, and it makes press dewatering.
Also, it is possible for low water content with adding shearing force by the screw.
⑤ Dewatered cake discharge
The low water cakes are discharged from the dehydrator continuously by pushing the presser.
· Features
① Unique differential rotation screen
With rotation of the external cylindrical screen, fresh filtration surface is constantly presented in the thickening zone, realizing high filtration performance and allowing a high degree of thickening over a short distance. Further, a uniformly and tightly consolidated cake layer is formed within the press dewatering zone and that the cake has a lower water content comparing with a fixed external cylinder type screw press.
② High separation wedge wire screen
The wedge wire screen which can maintain a high aperture ratio and strength can separate sludge quickly and maintain a fast filtration speed.
Also, the wedge wire screen can be efficiently washed and cleaned with a small amount of water as the wedge wire screen does not clog easily and is excellent detergency.
③ Water content control system
The screw press equipped with a constant feed pressure control system which maintains the solid matter load at a constant figure. This allows a consistent recovery rate of suspended solids in the effluent and consistent water content in the dewatered cake.
