Electro-Osmosis Reactor
Electro-osmosis Reaction is innovative washing system for impurity removal of waste plastics through generated oxidants by electrode. When treatment materials (waste plastics) and treatment water (generally waterworks) supplied to Electro-osmosis Reactor (EOR), anode in EOR decompose the treatment water, and then, generated strong oxidants (Hydroxyl radical, Ozone, etc..) by water decomposition that oxidize impurity in treatment materials. Meanwhile, cathode caterpillar dehydrate the remained oxidized impurity with treatment water. This method innovatively reduce the process costs due to any chemical ingredients and rinsing process. Also, processing time is short, and continuous treatment is possible.
EOR
· Theory of Electro-osmosis reaction
1. Treatment materials and treatment water supplied to anode and cathode in EOR.
2. Strong oxidants (Hydroxyl radical, Ozone and etc..) are generated due to oxidant potential from anode.
3. Generated oxidants oxidize impurity.
4. Oxidized impurity with treatment water are dehydrated through electro-osmosis effect of cathode.
